Discovery sessions, which featured small group discussions about important ideas or topics (ex: the possibilities of blockchain technology; helping a loved one suffering with addiction; or incentivizing politicians to do the right thing)

Discovery sessions were discussion sessions with a facilitated conversation about a specific topic (like free speech on college campuses, technology, a specific policy issue, addiction), but did not discuss the Network’s strategies.
This was the first Seminar in which we added these types of sessions, in response to participants’ feedback that they would like more opportunities to talk with one another. What was valuable about the discovery/discussion session(s) you attended? (If possible, please provide in your response the subject(s) you discussed.)
And, how would you improve the discovery sessions?
Would you recommend we offer discovery sessions at future meetings? Please explain.
Experiential sessions were immersive experiences, including those that allowed participants to cook alongside students in culinary programs, sit in a higher education classroom, or experience Youth Entrepreneurs curriculum.
